Dr. Minu Shah
The Eyeglass Factory is proud to introduce the newest member of our team, Dr. Minu Shah, OD. Dr. Shah is experienced in all forms of glasses and contact lenses, and is the local expert on the brand new bifocal contact lenses.
She has extensive experience with co-managing lasik and cataract patients, and has a strong interest in pediatric optometry. Dr. Shah spent several months training at the Low Vision Institute inside the world renowned Feinbloom Center as well as the prestigious Pentagon Clinic in Washington DC.
Dr. Shah was born and raised in Virginia and graduated from James Madison University before attending the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University). A former classical dance instructor, she lives with her husband in Winchester, VA and enjoys traveling and movies. The Eyeglass Factory has been blessed to have her on our team!.
Dr. Sona Kalra
Dr. Kalra brings extensive experience in glasses and contact lenses as well as the management of diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts, and many other ocular diseases.
In addition to holding a Doctorate of Optometry degree, Dr. Kalra holds a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has trained in highly respected clinics around the country including the Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, The University of Kentucky Department of Ophthalmology, and the UNC-CH school of medicine.
